Beth Toy

Hi.  This is Beth Toy, one of the Babes.  I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself.  I’ve lived in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas for the last 18 years and I LOVE LAS VEGAS!  Yes, I’ve lived other places and loved them all, but this is definitely my favorite!  I’ve been interested in music, songwriting, and entertaining all of my life.

In fact, even at the age of 4 or 5, I would make up little songs to sing, and my friends and I would put on little shows for my parents and grandparents in our basement in Chicago.  My Dad hung up a curtain and I can still remember all of us flinging open the curtain, while the Mickey Mouse records were playing, and pretending we were the REAL Mouskateers.  (I was always Karen by the way).

As a teenager, I joined a few different bands as the singer and guitarist and in my 20’s, I formed a female duo with my friend Lynn Wuczynski, called Charizma.  Music was my full time career for about ten years, traveling all over the country performing the current radio hits as well as some original music.  In the 80’s, I moved to the Los Angeles area where I continued with music, had a blast doing some acting in films and TV, and some voice over work.  In the mid 90’s, I completed a 600 hour recording class at Los Angeles Recording Workshop in North Hollywood, and discovered how very much I love editing.  Our new podcast is just so much fun for me.   I can’t even begin to tell you what a blast I’m having and truly hope that all of our listeners have as much fun listening to us, as we have creating this podcast for you.
